Capacity-building and Sustainable Development
The Asta-Ja Nepal Vision 2040 is a holistic national development framework aimed at transforming Nepal into a developed nation by 2040 through sustainable use of eight key resources—water, land, forest, medicinal plants, human resources, animals, crops, and climate. Targeting a per capita GDP of USD 15,000 and total GDP of USD 500 billion, it seeks 13% annual growth with USD 6 billion in yearly FDI. The vision focuses on nine pillars, including food security, renewable energy, tourism, exports, governance, infrastructure, social services, and resource conservation, supported by digital systems for investment and implementation.
